We wish you the top 'o morning' and welcome

Walk out with an Irish Terrier and inevitably someone will stop to say “gorgeous dog what is he” or “how wonderful to see a Mick” the name given to them in Great War.

Invariably, these encounters turn into a party while dogs and new found friends commune. For Irish Terriers are sociable dogs, not cloying or begging for affection, but chatty and interested with enormous charm and rare character. Once they have touched your life they are never forgotten.

This website was set up as a place for those of us who already love Irish Terriers or who want to be introduced to the breed. Do join us and share your stories and pictures to help celebrate and promote ‘Our Glorious Micks’, ‘The poor man’s sentinel, the farmers friend and the gentleman’s favourite.’

Scroll down or press the 'New Posts' tab to see the latest posts and adventures where you will discover the joy of sharing your life with an Irish Terrier
