These are some of the tributes that have come in for Miss Libbs.
“I would like to thank everyone for the kind and loving cards and emails for our beloved Miss Libbs.” – Lucy
So sad about the death of Bibbs. You will miss her.

Dear Lucy,
I write – with tears streaming down my face having read the news in your letter about dear Libby – to send you our condolences. We have followed the reports of her adventures over the years. What a gentle way to ‘come to a halt’, on your bed, amongst those that loved her so much. As you said, Libby had a wonderful life so there is much to celebrate in thinking back on her life.
It would be wonderful if you and Debbie were able to put a book together all about Libby in words and photos.
With our love and thoughts,
John, Gilly and ‘Finny’ & ‘Gertie’
(we are working on a book about the remarkable Libby)
Dear Lucy
On opening up my emails this morning after a beautiful walk with Leo in the Country Park, I received your latest newsletter. I am so sorry for your loss. You must take a lot of comfort that you were with Libby when her time came.
I’d also like to thank you and Debbie for publishing Oscar’s Obituary on your website. I read it this morning too.
Please take care.

My dearest Lucy, please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your most beautiful girl. I am sure you have the most wonderful memories of her and it was so very special that she was so close when she left this world to go off to the next one knowing just how very loved and special she really was.

Our hearts go out to you at this very sad time.
Sending you all our love and wishing you a very speedy recovery. Big hugs to Marybel xx
Jackie, Richard and our wonderful Winston. Xx
Ah, Lucy. So very sorry to hear about your lovely Libby.
It did make me cry, I have to say. I can’t bear the idea of losing my Solo. He’s only 3, but it haunts me nonetheless. It’s the reason it took me several decades, since being a teenager losing my dogs (first my German Shepherd Czar, then my Dalmatian Ben), before plucking up the courage to have my red devil Solo.
I do hope you’re well, and getting more well day by day.
All blessings for you,
Robin (and Solo of course!)
Oh Lucy
I feel for you and your loss. They are the most beautiful beings our dogs…especially the Irish ones!
