LS immortalised in silver
What do you get the Irish terrier fanatic who has everything? Easy you switch on your computer and search the “Internet”
Where a very talented lady’s work caught my eye, she creates the most amazing dog themed jewellery inspired by her own gorgeous Bull Terrier. This talented lady can customise her jewellery to suit individual dogs and their markings, even as far as head and ear shape etc.
The lady in question is called Tyra-Jane ward, and the most exciting thing is Tyra-Jane take’s on commissions for all breeds, each individual piece of jewellery is hand-made in her UK studio from 925 grade sterling Silver, she also works with gold, and best of all her talent doesn’t cost the earth.

The Process
Tyra-Jane requested that I send her as many pictures of My dog as I could, if possible taken from different angles, happy with the pictures I had sent, Tyra-Jane confirmed she would start sculpting LS in wax and get back to me with regular updates.
A few days later my first update arrived “LS” in wax” I was so excited and impressed with what she had achieved, we discussed a few ideas and any changes I wanted. A day or two later I received a video of the finished wax sculpture, showing him from every angle much better than pictures, I got a great feel for him, a few minor changes were made, nothing was too much trouble, she wanted everything to be perfect for me.
LS was then taken to the “Casting Guy” Chris, he casts the wax into silver, which is then ready for Tyra-Jane to tidy up, once polished and complete I was sent another video showing the results. To say I was thrilled was an understatement, I was so impressed with how she had captured LS, and the breed in general, and how cool my boy looked in Silver.
I confirmed I was happy with the pendant, and off he went, back to Chris who will make a number of moulds which can be injected with wax to create multiple LS’s, which will be for sale on “A Bullie For You” Etsy page, you can also order through her FB page where you can commission a pendant of your very own redhead!
